A great form of active relaxation

I treated myself to this tutorial and some watercolours as a relaxing activity to do during a few days off work. It was perfect, no complicated equipment and an easy to follow tutorial which encouraged me to be creative. I paused the video and played and rewound as I pleased. The instructions were great and I was really happy with my finished attempt, while no quite as beautiful as Caroline's it was a great start. I'd highly recommend the tutorial for anyone with a creative streak looking for a relaxing activity.

Wonderful water colour class

I was so excited to start this watercolour class for beginners. Caroline is a great Artist and Art teacher. She guided me every step of the way in her very professional approach. She gave very clear technical pointers on how to hold your brush, brush strokes, paint coverage, composition of the piece and lots of encouragement.
I felt very prepared for the class with the advanced information about resources needed for the class and where you could purchase them.
I painted my first ever watercolour of abstract peonies guided by a very gifted artist and I showed it to my mum and she said she would love to keep it and frame it so I have it framed to give to her for Mother’s Day.
This was such a joyful experience, very mindful and soulful stuff. I really enjoyed the therapeutic nature of the lesson.
I found Caroline’s lesson easy to rewind and forward to different parts to help with the execution of the piece very helpful. I could go at my own pace and revisit it at my leisure too which was wonderful.
I have been inspired by Caroline to continue my water colour journey and I have painted another 5 water colours.
I will definitely enrol in the next water colour class by Caroline as she was a very gifted and positive teacher.
